Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy explains cancellation and refund handling for OpsChugex self-service software subscriptions and separately scoped engineering services. Mandatory rights under applicable law always take priority.
Effective: October 1, 2026
Software subscriptions
You may cancel a self-service subscription through the available billing controls. Unless checkout or a signed agreement states otherwise, cancellation stops future renewals and paid access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Refunds for subscription charges
Fees already charged are generally non-refundable except for duplicate charges, verified billing errors, a refund expressly offered by OpsChugex, or where applicable law requires a refund or cancellation right. If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact hello@opschugex.com promptly with the account email and invoice or payment reference.
Engineering assessments and projects
Assessments, implementation projects, managed engineering and support are governed by the applicable proposal, statement of work or service agreement. Deposits, milestones, reserved engineering capacity, cancellation fees and refunds follow that agreement. Amounts already earned for completed work are not refundable unless the agreement or applicable law says otherwise.
Service problems
If a paid self-service feature is materially unavailable because of an OpsChugex-controlled billing or access error, contact support. We may correct the access issue, extend service, issue a credit or provide a refund where appropriate to the circumstances and applicable law.
Consumer rights
Nothing in this policy removes cancellation, refund, disclosure or other rights that cannot legally be waived. Where a transaction is subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules, those rules apply even if this policy states a more limited general rule.
How to request review
Email hello@opschugex.com with the account email, charge date, amount and reason for the request. We may ask for information needed to verify the transaction. Do not send full payment-card numbers by email.
