Privacy Policy
This policy explains how OpsChugex Technologies Inc. collects, uses, discloses, protects and retains personal information across opschugex.com, marketplace.opschugex.com and app.opschugex.com.
Effective: October 1, 2026
Who we are
OpsChugex Technologies Inc. is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Privacy questions, access requests and deletion requests can be sent to hello@opschugex.com.
Information we collect
Depending on the service used, we may collect account email, password hash, verification status, MFA configuration, session and security-event metadata, IP hashes, user-agent information, organization or team-directory details, billing identifiers and subscription status, cloud connection configuration, monitored application URLs, operational evidence, contact-form details and first-party analytics events.
We do not ask users to submit cloud passwords, private keys or customer secrets through public contact forms.
Why we use it
We use personal information to create and secure accounts, authenticate users, deliver requested services, process billing, respond to enquiries, operate monitoring and engineering workflows, detect abuse, maintain audit and security records, improve navigation and product onboarding, comply with legal obligations and protect OpsChugex, customers and users.
Consent and choices
We ask for information needed for a stated purpose and provide just-in-time notice where practical. Account creation requires acceptance of the Terms and acknowledgement of this Privacy Policy. Contact and assessment forms require acknowledgement of the purpose of collection. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party behavioural advertising.
Analytics and cookies
OpsChugex uses first-party, cookieless product analytics that records page path, coarse viewport size, referrer hostname and selected interaction type or destination. The analytics payload excludes passwords, authentication tokens, cloud credentials and contact-message content, and honours Global Privacy Control and browser Do Not Track signals. Authentication, security and language-preference cookies are described in the Cookie Policy.
Service providers and transfers
We use service providers for hosting and infrastructure, email delivery, payments and source/deployment workflows. Payment-card details entered in hosted checkout are handled by the payment provider rather than stored by OpsChugex. Some providers may process information outside Canada. Current service categories and optional integrations are listed on the Service Providers & Subprocessors page.
Retention and deletion
We keep information only for as long as needed for the service, security, contractual, tax, dispute and legal purposes. Expired authentication challenges and sessions are cleaned up automatically, first-party analytics files are limited to a rolling retention window, and account-linked records are deleted or de-identified when no longer required. Some security, billing, contractual or backup records may be retained longer where reasonably necessary or legally required.
Users can request account deletion through the account controls where available or by contacting hello@opschugex.com.
Your rights and contact
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to or correction of personal information, ask questions about its use, withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing, or request deletion where the information is no longer required. We may need to verify identity before completing a request. Canadian privacy concerns may also be raised with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
This policy may be updated when our practices, services or legal obligations change. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date.
